WILLIAM FRANK "BILL" COGAN Sr.

iconCOGAN SR., WILLIAM FRANK "BILL" September 15, 1929 to March 7, 2012 Bill died after a battle with lung cancer. He was 82 years old. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Bill joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school. He was a Radioman, stationed in Alaska. Subsequently, Bill spent his career as Shipping / Packaging Specialist with General Dynamics-Convair. He retired in 1992. Bill is survived by his sons Bill, Jr. of Deer Park, WA, and Brad of San Diego; and his daughter Jeanie Fleming of North Hills, CA. He has four grandchildren, Bill, Courtney, Colin and Tamara; and three great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Allison and Britney. Bill always enjoyed family get-togethers, watching the History Channel, the Discovery Channel , and old war time movies. A celebration of Bill's Life will be held Friday, March 16, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 6556 Park Ridge Blvd., San Diego, CA 92120.
