Dear Raymond & Maria,
We were all saddened to hear that your mother passed away. Our family wanted to send our deepest sympathies and let you know that our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.
~ Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it burned.
We wish we could be there tomorrow to support you and your family, unfortunately, both my father and I have severe bronchitis and do not want to risk exposing it to anyone else.
