Hale, Clementine M. 06/21/1919 ~ 03/04/2013 RANCHO SANTA FE-- Clementine Hale, known to her friends as Clem, passed away peacefully at her home in Rancho Santa Fe. She is survived by her children Robert Hale and Norman Hale, her daughter-in law Rene Potter Hale, as well as her grandson Christopher Hale, and her grand- daughter Jennifer Barton and Jennifer's husband Jonathon Barton. Clementine Hale was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eastmer Moore. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona as one of seven children. Clementine graduated from UCLA with a major in languages. On January 5th, 1946 she married C. Russell Hale at St. Paul's Church in Los Angeles. Clementine had a lifelong thirst for knowledge. Her intellect was formally recognized when she was accepted as a member of MENSA. Clementine Hale had a great passion for the game of golf. Her primary golf courses were Annandale C.C. and Rancho Santa Fe G.C., however she played at over 250 courses during her lifetime. While a member of Rancho Santa Fe G.C. her knowledge of the game was recognized as she was elected to the Board of Governors for that club. Clementine Hale contributed much during her lifetime. She will be missed by her family and friends.
