James Scott Willcoxson July 4, 1956 - March 24, 2017 San Diego Our beloved James Scott Willcoxson was born in San Diego on July 4, 1956 to Robert and Tommie (Simmons) Willcoxson. Jim was tragically killed March 24, 2017 in Fresno, California. His infectious laugh, beaming smile, words of kindness for everyone, plus his deep love for his family and friends, leave us all full of rich and cherished memories.Jim graduated from Patrick Henry High School and lived the majority of his life in San Diego. In May, 2016, he married his soul mate, Carol Holaday and moved to Fresno, where he took up employment at Colonial Van Lines as a salesman.He is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Coby and daughter-in-law, Jessika; stepchildren, Christina Marie and Schaun; grandchildren, Justice, Triston, Kyler, Maddox and Kinslee; mother, Tommie (Simmons) Willcoxson; sister Carol (Willcoxson) Wootton; brothers, Robert and John, plus adoring aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. We will celebrate Jim's life at noon on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Journey Church, 8363 Center Dr., La Mesa, CA 91942.
