Etonia, Jean 05/14/1921 ~ 09/06/2013 SAN DIEGO -- Jean was beloved for her kindness and sincere caring for all who knew her. Husband David, daughters Diane, Christine, Deidre, son Lee, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great- grandchildren. Jean was born in Grand Rapids, MI and grew up in Chicago, IL in a professional music family. She was an accompanist for her concert violinist sister Lucy Heiberg. Attended Northwestern, UCLA, UCSD earned a degree in counseling. Worked for the US Naval Training Center Pt. Loma in its addiction program. A San Diego Opera Docent, Lecturer at Kingsway College, Scotland. Preceded in death by her son, Dinesh Quatrochi. Married 40 love filled years to husband David. Jean was an avid sailing member of SWYC, a member of the WWII Military Order of the Guard, piano teacher, and youth counselor at the family's Wisconsin Boy's Camp. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on the anniversary of her passing. Please make donations in Jean's honor, to the San Diego .
