DIANNE DEMETRE DENOS Obituary
DENOS, DIANNE DEMETRE Dianne Demetre Denos, 74, mother, devoted wife, grandmother and a good friend. Born in San Diego to Frank Demetre and Emily Spear on April 7, 1938. She graduated from San Diego High School '56, married the love her life, Bill Denos at 19. Their marriage stretched a wonderful 48 years. Throughout the course of her life she was part of the Greek community, she was voted "Queen of the GOYA" (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) when she was young and also contributed to the Palm Sunday Services with her sister, cousin, and brother-in-law. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and later knitted hats for cancer survivors much like herself. She loved roaming the Oregon coast and a good murder mystery. She was known for her calligraphy, her beautifully wrapped gifts with oversized bows, and her kind heart. Dianne lost her life to cancer on November 15, 2012. She is survived by a sister, Patty Moises, a brother Ernie Demetre, a Daughter, Yvonne Schugar, a son, Athon Denos, and seven adoring grandchildren.
