Pat was a wonderful member of the Grossmont English staff. Smart, intuitive, and very hip, she was a joy to know.

She was part of the legend in my growing up. The stories my dad told of John and Don and Mac. Pat always kept me up on the goings on from the left coast after the men past. She was a delight always, to be missed for sure but forever in the hearts of all she touched.

Mrs. Hanft was a great neighbor. Always friendly and supportive. She put up with my learning to play the drums two doors down! Thanks Mrs. Hanft for being a part of my great childhood memories. Thoughts and prayers to the family from the Grano's.

John, I was so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. Her obit was such an insight of what a wonderful person she was. My Mother passes 4 years ago and I know the pain. You are a wonderful son and I know she was so proud of you. God bless you family and Happy Mothers day to you wife Ellen. May the days ahead be full of hope and best wishes for future days of happiness. Love Laura and Mike Huffman

I saw Pat in March while she was staying with her daughter Liz. She had a twinkle in her eye and would have had a skip in her step had it not been for her walker! May her family find comfort in their many memories.

It was an honor to work with Pat. She was so interesting and well informed about a variety of subjects. Pat always reminded me of the of the cigarette and martini generation; hip to what was happening and wise about the past. Bill Gray

Robert and I enjoyed meeting and talking with Pat on her visits to the bay area. She was sharp as a tact and a great conversationalist. We have a fond memory of her being with us for Xmas and making sure she had her GIN martini. Her drive and spirit is an inspiration. She will be missed. Our sympathies go out to the entire family.

I knew Pat when she worked at Grossmont High. She was always pleasant and helpful. I know she was a highly regarded aide in the English Department. I enjoyed seeing her at the retired teachers group when she came with Connie Baer. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
