Ray was always someone I could depend on in high school or the school district. He's one of a kind.

Very sorry to hear of Ray's departing. I graduated the same year and also retired from San Diego City Schools.
Ray was perpetually upbeat and fun to be around.
I hope he passed peacefully.

Judy and Family, Lori, Amy and I were so heartbroken to hear the news about Ray. Our dinner several weeks ago together was so special as you stopped in Round Rock, Texas on the way to Georgia. We cherish the exotic bird houses so much now and they are prominently displayed throughout our home. We met you last August during our cruise to Alaska and little did we realize we would meet new friends for life. Ray was such a warm-hearted person that obviously loved his family. Our meals together aboard ship was the highlight of our trip. You made us feel like we were family and very comfortable to be around. We hope to see you soon.

God Bless You and Your Family. Lori, Amy and Mike Holloway

I'm sorry to hear about Ray's passing. He was our paperboy when we were in high school. We met up again when he came to my school to fix our locks. He became our family "locksmith." He loved his family and spoke so highly of them. He always had a smile and was truly a great guy. I feel honored to have been his friend. My blessings to his loving family. He will be missed. RIP Ray

I grew up with Ray and Susan from Oak Park Elementary all the way through Crawford High. Always a quality person and I seem to recall he was really good at kick ball. We didn't have youth soccer leagues in those days but if we had he would have been a star. RIP Ray.

You will be forever missed and we love you very much and talk about you everyday since you have passed. You are what anyone would want in a Brother-in-Law, kind, considerate and would give the shirt off your back to anyone. Give Kathy and Terri a hug from Judy and I. You will never be forgotten. Till we meet again and walk among God's Gates. We miss and love you!!

Sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I worked with Ray at San Diego Unified School District and enjoyed his fellowship in OMBAC. Whenever a school had lock problems, Ray and his crew were there with smiling faces and were very professional. Looks like Ray can now be the head locksmith at the Pearly Gates in heaven. My best to Judy and the family.

What a blessing it was to have shared your lives with Ray. May the love for this wonderful man and each other, carry you through the difficult times. My love and prayers are with you.
