Obituary Condolences

ADNEY Jr., ERIC BRYAN Nov. 18, 1922 to Feb. 9, 2011 Eric was born in Mesa, AZ, and moved to California at age four. San Diego County became his home from 1942 until his death. He worked at Consolidated Aircraft Co., served in the Army Air Corp in World War II and was the Construction Superintendent for many apartments, schools, churches, etc. in the San Diego area. Eric graduated from Central Bible Institute in Missouri, got his BA from Vanguard Univ. in Costa Mesa, CA. He asked God into his life at an early age and served Him until his death. His ministries for God included serving as a hospital Chaplain, going on missionary trips to Africa to build schools and churches, and working with Teen Challenge. Eric leaves his loving wife of 59 years, Lillian; daughters Michele (Wayne, deceased) Aldrich, Larell (Matt) Strickland, Lavonn (Jeff) Bormuth; granddaughters, Lisa (Jon) Zeissler, Dori (Mark) Quade, Stacee Strickland, Tavia Strickland; great-grands, Valerie and Tiffany Zeissler, Clara and Reuben Quade, Madyson Cappelletti, and sister, Genene Eazer. We all share wonderful memories of this kind, gentle, humorous man who loved his family and God with all his heart.
