Om Sai Ram, dear Peter ji,
It is hard to believe it has already been 9 years since you have left your mortal coil. i am sure you must be one of the gandharvas. i have so many wonderful memories of you at Sam and Sharon's home. Also, when you would come to visit, or sitting drinking tea and sharing Baba stories in your Apt. Also, hair raising rides in you car. [i can still remember your license plate--"OMSALA"! Om Jai Sai Ram. Love, your sister and friend in the Divine, Amber xox

Om Sai Ram, dear brother! You have been freed at last from your Earthly bonds. May you fly high on your wings of Light. i will always remember you as one of my dearest friends and fellow Baba devotees; even though i haven't seen you since September, 1994. You have me a photo of our Baba at Sam's and had such a wistful look when i said goodbye. [ i was moving to Michigan, at that time]. A part of you knew it would be the last time we saw each other in this particular embodiment. See you later with our Prema Sai, when a whole new chapter of leela's unfold! :)
Your sister beyond forever,

I have not seen Peter in many years. I also went to Crawford and I was one of his housemates at the time of the accident and saw him a few times afterwards. I have thought about him often over the years. My sympathies to his friends and family.

Sai Ram,
This a tribute to Peter Keyser who left his body on August 7, 2011 while at home.
He was a Baba devotee for about 40 years and had the most incredible singing voice.
When I stayed at his place, I would be awakened at 3 or 4 in the morning by his singing bhajans. It was heavenly. His mind was always on God – Baba, Jesus, Krishna, Shiva and others. He also had an incredible photo collection of Baba.
He became paralyzed just after high school when the van he was riding in crashed.
He jumped on top of a girl to protect her. As the car crashed, a tree fell on the van and on top of Peter. She remained all right.
He was a young healthy strong guy who was a surfer. Even with his paralysis, he remained a warm, fun guy. He scared me and I am sure other people with some of his wheelchair antics.
He attended Sai Baba center meeting until it became too much for him.
We kept in touch by phone. He always had the most incredible personal spiritual stories to share. I would often ask him to sing a song.
Wherever Peter is, he is continuing his singing to Sai.
When and if Peter returns to help Prema Sai, he will be one of the lead singers.
For now he can sing, “Free at Last, Free at Last, Thank God, I am Free at Last.
Thank you Peter for everything.

I remember Peter before his accident in 1970 and after when he became paralyzed. He was a brave soul who fought through 9 operations at Rancho Del Los Amigos Hospital in Downey CA to help correct his paralysis. I heard of his many trips to India where he must have found solace to help him spiritually in his life. May his family and friends keep sweet memories of him.

Teammate, friend, and fellow prankster, if not for Pete, I would have never ridden big surf, or jumped off all three piers and Sunset Cliffs, or gotten tubed at 8 ft at Black's. Thanks for the path.

I had the fortune to meet Peter 30 years ago, when I lived on Pt. Loma Avenue in Ocean Beach. Our passing in life was brief, but so profound, I have thought about him so often. His conversations altered my life and my decisions, to this day. I will forever be greatful my journey included a divine soul! "Dude", forever and always in my heart and soul, as it sings "Stream of Mercy Divine". Thank You. Linda
