Gary Robert Bitters

Bitters, Gary Robert 06/19/1952 ~ 07/16/2014 OAK PARK, CA. -- Gary passed away suddenly in his home in Oak Park, California. He was born in Brigham City, Utah and raised in Kaysville. Gary graduated from Davis High in 1970 and Weber State with a degree in Accounting in 1974. He was retired after working many years as a successful business man and split his time between his homes in Southern California and Loreto, Mexico. He loved the sun and the ocean and enjoyed scuba diving, fishing and golfing. He was a great cook and loved to read. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Bitters; his wife of 22 years, Stephanie Bitters; two daughters, Michelle Connor and Stephanie (Alee) Karmin; step- children, Cassidy (Raleigh) Purtzer and Kevin Geiss; sisters, Sandra Tsushima and Tammie (Marvin) Murri; five grandchildren, Jackson, Marlow, Mason, Cole and Adeline; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Edwin Bitters in 1977. Gary was very generous, had a big heart and a great sense of humor. He was dearly loved and will be missed. ~~~~~~ "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow.
