I have so many fond memories of Cy from my childhood. The Santa outfits, helping me with my first (and second) computer, and always making me laugh (almost always at my dad's or my expense). Even though he liked to play the grumpy old man, his kindness and warmth would always come through. I'm guessing he and my dad are causing trouble wherever they are right now.

Cy was a close friend and co-worker of my husband, Don Bodie – happy to say that he became my friend also. Boy did they have stories… then on to Clampers together, more stories. Cy was one of a kind! Always ready to help, to socialize and to cook the best BBQ ribs I have ever eaten. Best meal would be Cy's ribs followed by Nancy's strawberry pizza … He was an outstanding SANTA – began wearing his red shirt in November, always ready with a Candy Cane – little kids were believers (me too)… Cy will be missed by many.

There were some great memories of Cy working with him at the Phone Company....Pacific Bell- Pacific Telesis, then back to AT&T...Cy was a very good technician and yes he could charm an angry customer with ease...the stories he could tell he and his partner Al Holbrook... I heard they drove all the way to Los Angles one time to pick up some parts for a repair job.....Gone to heaven but not forgotten....he will be missed. Fun times at Convoy Court... @ the data Test Board.

So many good memories with Cy.
A fine friend, and a great repairman. Many ride-alongs where we confronted an angry customer, but Cy would charm him out of his anger while fixing the problem.
Also a great wood worker, learned quite a bit from watching him up in his old shop.
He will be missed.
God speed old friend.
