Cheryl Kay O'Neill May 25, 1944 - October 30, 2015 La Mesa Cheryl Kay O'Neill of La Mesa passed away from natural causes on Friday, October 30, 2015 at home in La Mesa. Cheryl was born to Rodney and Katherine McIntire on May 25, 1944 in Norman, OK. Cheryl graduated from Crawford High School and was owner of CKO Janitorial Services until the time of her retirement. Cheryl was a member of the Kiwanis Club and Red Haters Club, she also served as President of the Fletcher Hills Little League for several years. Cheryl also loved to bowl and was in various leagues over the years. She is survived by her son Jerry O'Neill, wife Bobbi, grandsons Andrew and Michael O'Neill, and son Dennis O'Neill, and granddaughters Rachelle and Shiree O'Neill of Santee. Cheryl is also survived by her sister Judy Harker, husband, Duey and nephews Michael and Dennis Harker of El Cajon, and brother Rodney McIntire of La Mesa. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sycuan Resort, 3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, CA on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Cheryls death. My husband Bob & I spent many happy hours with her during the Little League years and beyond

She was also a babysitter for Michael after school in elementary school. He & Jerry have remained best friends since first grade.


She was always a wonderful Mother & a very hard worker

Cheryl, was my 2nd Mom for years, she had two of the coolest boys in the world, Jerry and I are still best of friends for more than 40 years later, which is proof of what a wonderful person and Mother to all she was to us. I will miss her soooo much. Thanx for my best friend and brother You will be missed by ALL.
