I am heading to San Diego for a last minute trip and wanted to visit one of my favorite computer students, Mary. My sadness at her passing is belated but true. I wish all of the family peace and the comfort of wonderful memories of your dear Mary. Your family holds a special place in my heart. With Love - Jess Brewton-Turnbough (the computer tutor from PLNU)

So sorry to hear this news, Pete and family. She was such a lively, vivacious woman. A real inspiration. Thank you for giving me the pleasure of an introduction. I am honored and blessed to have met your mom, a fellow Michigander. My condolences on your loss.

I am profoundly thankful that I was able to visit with cousin Mary during our recent trip to southern California. The visit was brief, but a good one. She remembered my late father, her first cousin Frank Secan, who had relayed to me fond memories of visits to the Secan's Michigan home in the years leading up to World War II. This visit was part of a reconnection between two halves of the Pittsburgh Joseph and Anna Secan family that have been disconnected for too long. I only wish I could have known Mary better.

One of the most graceful, beautiful human beings I have ever had the honor of knowing. I truly feel richer having had Mary Secan Smith as part of my life. Thank you Mary. I will always remember you.
