Alice Hannula, 92, was born in 1921 in Patagonia, Aria., to Paul and Maude McIntyre and died of pneumonia and other illnesses Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. She graduated from San Francisco High School in 1938 and earned her bachelor's degree in psychology. She had a beautiful voice, played piano and sang in clubs until she started her family. She met her first husband, Cut Kravagna, while they both were working at Lockeed during World War II. They had two children and later divorced. Alice was loving, kind and generous to people and animals. She was an exceptional and intelligent woman, always supportive of her family and had been a 40-year breast cancer survivor. She loved and collected books, took classes in sculpture and spent a lot of time finding homes for needy animals. She also traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Americas. She is dearly missed by all who were knew her. Alice is survived by her son, Craig; daughter Carol; sister Virginia (Jinger); son-in-law Jerry; brother-in-law Veryl; granddaughter, Heather; step-grandchildren Ian, Jennifer and Isaac; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
