2012: The Year in Review

In many ways, 2012 was a hard year. Stories of tragedy filled the news – the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, a Colorado movie theater, a Sikh temple, and other places. The devastation left behind by Superstorm Sandy and a string of springtime tornadoes in the Midwest and South. The loss of favorite musicians and actors… and saying goodbye to heroes.

Over the next few days, we will remember many of the notable deaths of 2012. We begin today with a look at some of them: the famous faces, iconic figures, and innocent victims we mourned together this year…
