Bennett, Richard Charles  
Richard Charles Bennett 1923 - 2016 Richard was first born of Charles Bennett and Meredith Taberner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, Gayne Pinto-Bennett of San Luis Obispo and his six children: Maura (Jim) Packwood of Austin, Texas; Michael (Sherry) of Newberry Park, Calif.; Mark of Fresno, Calif.; Peggy (Rick) Gregory and Eileen of Seattle, Wash., and Charlie (Wendy) of North Hills, Calif., as well as 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brock, Dorothy  
Dorothy Brock Santa Rosa, California Dorothy D. Brock, a two-year resident of Oakmont Gardens in Santa Rosa died peacefully Sunday morning the 17th of April, 2016, at Santa Rosa Kaiser Hospital surrounded by loving family. Her life was full and vibrant to within a few days of her passing. Born in Santa Monica in 1929, Dorothy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University in 1953. She was a Life Member of AAUW, and was a past President of both the Napa and Morro Bay Branches. She was a member and supporter of several other community and church organizations. Dorothy taught preschool and elementary school students for many years. She loved children and actively engaged them in almost any situation inside or outside the classroom throughout her life. Dorothy loved the social and physical aspects of exercise and could be found any weekday in body pump and aerobics classes followed by coffee and chat with friends. She was recently learning Spanish and was planning a trip with her husband John down the Columbia River to learn about the Lewis and Clark expedition. She loved socializing, plays, musicals, museums, concerts, movies, church, reading and being with friends and family. She is survived by John Brock, her husband of 61 years; her children, Dana, Kelly and Clay and grandchildren: Lindsey, Anna, Loren and Nelson. A Celebration of her Life, friends and family will be held at Oakmont Gardens, 301 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, 95409, on Sunday, May 1 at 2:00pm. Sign her guestbook at sanluisobispo.com/obituaries
