Albert Munns Obituary

Albert Frederick "Fred" Munns was born in London, England, in June 1929, and died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at his home in Paso Robles Fred served in the Royal Air Force and worked as a pressman for the London Evening News before immigrating to California with his wife, Joan in 1956.   He then worked for the Los Angeles Times until he retired and moved to Paso Robles in 1994. He was a Scoutmaster, enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and socializing. Fred left behind his wife of 57 years, Joan; son, Michael; daughter, Allison; daughter''"in-law, Melanie; grandsons David and Wesley; granddaughter, Kelly; and sister, Kathleen. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct 17, 2010, at the Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, 1703 Spring St. in Paso Robles. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Boy Scouts Troop 60 and sent to Steve von Dohlen, Scoutmaster, C/O Boy Scouts Troop 60, 1002 Little Quail Place, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
