I have fond memories of Drew from high school. Hadn't seen him in years, but always remembered what a great guy he was. I was very sad to see this. Rest In Peace Drew.

Sharon, Carty and the entire family...... we are so heartbroken to hear of the passing of Drew. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. We cannot even begin to imagine the pain and suffering you are experiencing. The high school years our boys hung out together Drew was always a young man who had a special place in my heart...... Drew, lil butt head, damn Andrew got me again or right on Drew are some of the ways I would refer to Drew often...Drew was in a way the little brother I never had. He is also that little brother that drove you crazy because as we got older Drew easily became the better Surfer, skateboarder, BMX rider, cliff diver and whatever else he set his mind to. His big smile (often mischievous) and positive spirit (also playfully mischievous at times) is how I will remember him. I was saddened by the struggles and demons he faced and I know he was to. Unfortunately we cannot always control our bodies and our minds and I'm thankful he no longer has to walk that scary and seemingly lonely road. The Drew I know and choose to remember was a sweet, caring, family means everything and truly kind soul. Sharon, Carty, Corban, Tyler and Elaina and all off the Holland, Strand, Romig families my thoughts are with you and I love you all.

Sharon and Carty, When I read in the paper about the death I was hoping it was not your son...then I read the obituary. I cannot even imagine losing a child, a precious, loved son. You both have been in my thoughts these past days. Hug each other and breathe.
