Bradley Keith Urquhart died Friday, Sept. 5, 2013, at home in Morro Bay. Brad lost his life due to cancer and liver failure. He was born in Fresno, Calif., to Elvin and Jerrie Urquhart in 1958, and the Urquharts moved to Morro Bay in 1964. Brad went to Morro Elementary School and graduated from Morro Bay High School, where he competed in football and wrestling. He was a master concrete finisher, commercial and sport fisherman. Brad loved dogs, surfing, camping and spending time with his many long time friends. He avidly followed professional sports: football, baseball and basketball '? passionately. He stayed close to his family and lived on their avocado ranch and helped out with the trees. Brad is survived by his mother, Jerrie; sister, Jill Urquhart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was recently preceded in death by his father in March of this year. Cremation has already taken place and his ashes will be scattered at sea. A celebration of life BBQ potluck will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the Erden-Kann ranch, 1664 Nagano Road in Morro Bay (from Little Morro Creek Road, turn left on Nagano Road). Please bring a dish to share. For details, contact Jill Urquhart at firstname.lastname@example.org
