I'm so sorry for your loss. He was like a father to me as my father in law. My thoughts and prayers are with Joanne(wife), his sons Mike, Clarence, Jim, grandchildren Mark, Tim, Charlie, Jamie, Julie, Johnny, James, Chris, Henry, Leah and his many nieces and nephew & great grandson Bentley(Tim). Charley provided for all of us, he gave all of us everything we ever wanted. He worked hard every day of his life. He loved to fly, ride horses years ago and visit with his many friends and family. We used to go for drives and drink beer and just have fun. We had many family holidays, birthday parties, wedding receptions and the kids had pool parties with their classmates and youth football teams at their grandpas house. He was an awnry, silly, loving, happy man. I will forever miss you and all that you were to me and my sons Mark and Tim .

To the family of Charlie Schmitz, sending condolences and prayers to you all. He was a great neighbor before he moved to the trailer park. I met Charlie through my husband Bobby Kinkaid . He was a dear friend also.
