Clara was kind, loving, gracious and always smiling. She was curious about everything and always shared things with me that she had read or heard. We could talk for hours without stopping. I will treasure my memories of the three trips I took with her. She was up for every challenge! Clara and my mom would support one another and walk and giggle and list from side to side. They had such fun together. I will miss her so much. She positively glowed from the inside out. Clara, you are my role model for aging: go down fighting!

After reconnecting with my dear cousin after more than five decades losing her hurts so very much. It was so much fun to remember when we were children. I will miss Clara more than I can say. To her dear family who have become dear to me as well I extend my heartfelt condolences. Your mom and grandmother was a very special lady. Love to all of you.

Aunt Clara was a beautiful person. She always made you feel good no matter how bad it was. Whenever we came to visit her, it was hard to say goodbye. She was so special. She was a role model and an inspiration to me. I wish that I had been able to spend more time with her. I am thankful that she brought us together over the last ten years. We will miss her dearly.

It brings me great sorrow to hear of the passing of Aunt Clara. She was truly a wonderful person, and brought joy to all who knew her. My only regret is not having had opportunity to know her better. I know she is in a better place, and we will see her again one day with great rejoicing.

Aunt Clara and Uncle Johnny's visits were always something our whole household looked forward to. In later years, the phone calls that replaced the visits were also a source of great joy. I will always remember Aunt Clara for her kindness and openness. She was a person that felt like love and faith required action, not just sentement. She gave of herself in so many ways to help family and friends. She was someone we admired and loved greatly. I will miss her encouraging words and the fun of watching my Mom "light up" and hearing the happy laughter when she received a call from her sister Clara. We are comforted in knowing that Aunt Clara is now enjoying the reward of her faith, eternal life in the presence of her Lord. My prayers are with you Steve & Debbie, Anita, Amber and Zeb.

I shall miss my dear neighbor and friend for a long time to come. I remember the first time I met her at the mail box, when I saw her smile I thought we will be good friends. From bowling, brige, church, bingo, she was always ready to go. Gary would help her in a minute if she had a problem and we both loved her.
My thoughts and prayers to all of her family.

Clara was a wonderful person to know. I worked with her at El Corral Bookstore and enjoyed minute I worked with her. She always had a smile for everyone. She will be missed. My sympathy to the family.

Dear West Family,
Aunt Clara was truely a wonderful person who always had a twinkle in her eye. I especially loved it when she & Uncle Johnny visited our home. One of my fondest memories was of Clara & my mom showing Lisa & I how to dance! We had American Band Stand on the TV & they were 'cutting a rug' - I don't think I've ever laughed harder! She will be greatly missed.
Please know that you all are in our thoughts & prayers and that although there are many miles between us, we think of you all often.
With much love,

I live in Illinois and won't be able to go to the funeral. I wanted to say that Clara was always a most gracious lady and welcomed me into her home on many occasions when I was visiting her neighbors, the Kunstmans. She was the kindest woman I had known for a long time. She will be missed by her friends and family but she is with our Lord and is making the sun shine even brighter. God bless you, Clara and welcome you home.

I worked with Clara for years, and so enjoyed her humor, kindness and sincerity! When Clara talked to you, she made you feel that she was letting you in on a secret, a funny story just for you, or an intimate tale from her life. We have all lost a very special person. Mary
