Ethel Maynard Obituary

Our beloved mother, Ethel Dunford Maynard, 98, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, in Logan, Utah. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend. Everyone that met her loved her. Ethel is survived by her children Jim and Dale Dunford (Sue) and Cheryl Swenson (Marc); 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte MacPherson. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 1010 Foothill Blvd. in San Luis Obispo. Reis Family Mortuary 544-7400 San Luis Obispo

Cheryl and Jim and Dale,
I just found this site. Thank you for sharing your mom with me. I miss her so but I am glad that she is reuinited with her loved ones who have gone before. Hope you can come to the memorial service at Prince of Peace on Sunday, I know you will be there in spirit if not in person. In God's love, Margaret

Cheryl and Dale: I'm sorry to learn of your mother's passing. I remember her warm smile. I can see her standing in her kitchen...which was just like our kitchen. I'm grateful to have had you and your family as part of my childhood.
