Karrie and I send our best to the Cummings family. I'll remember Ferrell the most for his work at Faith Baptist church when I was young, leading the song services and hosting bible studies at the Cumming's home. I loved his old Ford work truck too because my grandpa had truck like it. He was always very kind; I'll miss him.

Dear Cheri, Cindy, Julie, John, Jeff and the rest of the Cummings family.. my heart goes out to you all. Thankfully we know that his timing is always perfect, but doesn't lessen the loss you will feel for your husband, dad, grandpa and friend. I pray that God softens the ache and that you will rejoice that he is now with his Lord and Savior. I remember Farrell fondly throughout my childhood days in San Luis on Seward st., and continuing when I prayed you'd follow us in our move to Atascadero.. which you did :) There are so many memories of Farrell and the "farm", from playing in the tree house to watching the pigs being "readied" by the butcher. My childhood would not have been the same without Farrell and your precious family whom I miss. May God bless you during this time and know that I am thinking of you all and praying for you. I'm not sure I'll be able to attend the funeral, but would surely LOVE to see you all and reminisce about all the good times. Please keep me posted on any and all plans and hope to see you all soon! Love, Teri (Martin) Cryer

Farrell and his mom, Virginia, were good friends and very dear to my grandmother, Charmie Madgett. They were a tremendous help to her when my grandfather died and in the years after. I pray that this family will be comforted by our merciful and loving Lord, and I'm happy to think of these friends together again in Heaven.

Uncle Farrell will be missed here on earth but I am so glad we will all meet again in heaven! He is leaving his legacy behind in his children and my prayer for all of my cousins is that their relationship with the Lord will be as strong as his! Let your light shine for your dad! Love you Aunt Cheri and the rest of you.

Dear Cheri, Cindy and Family,
I met Farrell years ago when all us gals played Bunko together. December was our month to have couples Bunko. I will always remember that Farrell led us in a group prayer before our dinners. I know he loved the Lord with all his heart, and it showed in the way he lived his life. I also got to visit with Farrell when he was attending the day program in Templeton. We enjoyed looking at pictures of a book about Morro Bay history, and he shared stories about his family and how much he loved them.
I know he's rejoicing with the angels in heaven!

Farrell Cummings was truly one of the nicest men I have ever met.
My sorrow is overshadowed by the joy of Farrell being in the presence of our precious, all knowing Lord. Looking forward to an eternity of rejoicing, when the Lord brings us all together again.
