My dad is my hero, and a legend, he always told me to be a good citizen, do my best and be cool. He never raised his voice at me and was the best iron worker.
I would like to thank my step-mother Evelyn, my Dad's best friend, for all she has done. We love you mama Evelyn.
My father passed on Christmas day 2010 and my mother on Easter Sunday 1995. A priest once told me that there is an old saying, "if you die on Easter or Christmas you go straight to heaven".
My Dad's mother, Katheryn Hall, and his aunt, Mora Robbins, were both born in Utah and later moved to California. They were the best women, they filled my life with so much love, kindness and care, they loved life and children.
As I've grown I have learned that all of my heroes are my family. I'll see you in heaven. Amen.

Love,
Susie Q and Family too!

I met Jack through a mutual friend Mr.Marcel Calay who would come down from British Columbia each January and February and he would stay at the Inn at Avila Beach,And one of his dearest friends was Mr.Wolfe.I know that Marcel had worked with Jack on that big project in Israel and as I could gather they met up in other parts of the world on other large construction projects.I know when they got together I'm sure there were lots of fond memories to catch up on.Mr.Calay liked to refer to me as "Jethro"(from the Beverly Hillbillies show",Jack would refer to me by that moniker also, those two got a kick out of that in a nice way.But that and the fact that he was always in good spirits even when he was under the weather showed he was always young at heart. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. My sincerest condolences to Mrs.Wolfe and the entire Wolfe family.

Grandpa Jack has been in my life ever since my very first memories… one of the first memories I can remember is riding around Grover, Pismo and AG with him in his old Ford truck. He used to let me stand up on the bench seat next to him so I could see where we were going… I remember him just looking over at me smiling, laughing and just getting a good ol’ kick out hanging out with his crazy little redheaded grandson. Grandpa Jack and Evelyn used to babysit me all the time so I have countless great memories with him… He has always been there for me and he definitely gave me my since of adventure and travel bug. He also inspired me in my aviation career… I remember going into to his home office looking at all the personally signed F16 fighter jet photos from his friends in Israel at the Ramon Airbase. I can recall it like it was yesterday, looking at all the photos and listing to Grandpa Jack’s stories… it gave me my inspiration to become a pilot someday. I truly believe because of those moments with him is why I am a commercial pilot of more than 15 years now. My brother Jack and I ended up very much like him, always on the go, working hard, traveling and seeing the world... The life lessons and experiences I learned from him will never be forgotten and will be passed on for generations. I have known Grandpa Jack and my whole life was lucky enough to see him about 2 weeks before he passed… I can honestly say he never changed once, he still looked at me the same way as he did in my first memories in that old Ford truck. I still think of him and see him as the most accomplished Grandfather in the world and was blessed to have him in my life! Love you Grandpa Jack

I loved my father very much. Even though I was miles away I was able to tell him so as my sister Susie held the phone to his ear. I will miss him but know that someday we will all be together. God bless his memory and his wife Evelyn.

Jack and Evie have been our neighbors and dearest friends for the past 11 years. Jack was like a grandpa to our kids and such a close friend he was like a member of our family, as well as Evie. We love you both very much and know that Jack is no longer hurting and looking down on all of us. Remember the time he put the sticker bullets on our cars? Jack always makes us laugh. He will always be in our hearts, we love you both. The Fisher Family, Scott, Laura, Jon,Ken and Emily
