I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Josephine and Harvey "Carl" when they lived on Anita Ave. in Grover Beach. I was their Letter Carrier. They were both lovely people. I remember Harvey telling me jokes and I told him he reminded me of Henny Youngman- little did I know at the time he was a true comedian. Josephine loved to play cards and when she moved, invited me to vsit her at her new place anytime. Sorry I never did. They were two memorable people. Angie, I'll keep your family in my prayers.

I have known Jo well over 15 years and always enjoyed our visits. Jo always had her hair and make up on even if it just a quick trip to the bank. She had me over for lunch a few years back ,to this day I still remember how good that veal picatta tasted. Jo I will always keep you in my heart and know you are in a better place. Angie I will always keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I visited with Josephine at the Arroyo Care Facility. What beautiful memories she shared of her home down south and of her children. What a gal! She always reminded me to 'remember what is important in life.' Tricia

I worked with Josephine at RCS, Inc., which became Metromedia, in the 1980s. She was a wonderful lady - smart, funny, with a huge heart. One thing her obituary didn't mention was the fact that she and her late husband, Harvey, worked in vaudeville back in the Catskills in New York. They were gracious enough to perform at our Christmas party one year. I still think of them every time I hear the song "New York, New York" - they were fantastic! You will be missed, Josephine.

Remember to keep a song in your heart just as Josephine did.
