I'm sorry to lose my friend June. I loved how much she loved nature and her plants. And I relish the memories of intense conversations that we shared. June, thank you for coming to planet Earth. We were blessed by your presence.

Your mom and I share(d) the same name and so this notice was sent to me in a Google alert. I opened the file and now feel compelled to offer my condolences to your family. She was a most amazing woman and was clearly very much loved by her children. You've paid her a lovely homage in this eulogy. May she rest in peace.

June was our neighbor for many years here in Los Osos. We first met her when our home was under construction in the early 90s. She was always friendly and would give us a wave, or stop to chat. She was a very interesting and likeable lady. Later, she was very kind to me after my husband died unexpectedly. I appreciated that very much. My daughter, Lisa, and I send our condolences to all of you. Although someone else owns June's home now, we always will think of her when we take a walk down the road and see the yard with all of her plants and trees growing so well.

We had the privilege of knowing June for 15 years before she moved to Atlanta, near the end of her life. We hiked, camped, cooked, and examined ideas together. The family's obituary for her brings back so eloquently all these happy memories. What a poignant delight to read! We feel for your loss.
With love,

I'm so sorry June had Alzheimers. She was such a force of nature that I didn't think that possible. I remember that she tried to eradicate the Lannaria in her yard in Los Osos which proved as difficult as eliminating the poison oak.
To Life! May June rest well!
I will miss her.
Peace be unto you, her family.
