Born Mark Bernard Warburton, 52, of Walnut Creek, Calif., died peacefully in his sleep Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, in Grover Beach. Mark graduated in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Business from Idaho State University. He had a successful sales career with Makita Power Tools. He loved his work. Mark was an active member of the Elks Lodge for 23 years and Moose Lodge, where he participated in numerous fund raising events for the community. He loved Karaoke and was known as Mark Diamond for his renditions of Neil Diamond songs. He was an avid golfer, best known for his powerful drives, although he couldn't putt well. Mark loved woodworking and built beautiful furniture. Mark cherished his wife, family and friends. Mark is survived by his wife, Monette "Moe;" daughter, Chrie (Rusty); grandchildren Rusty III and Trista Barnes; and daughter, Brittany (Kiel) and granddaughter, Aly Lofstrands. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Warburton; brothers Tom, John, Jim, Bob, Bill, Ed, Steve and Don; and sister, Sue Hanni. He was preceded in death y his father, Thomas Warburton III. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to noon, when a funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 501 Fair Oaks in Arroyo Grande.
