Mel you will be missed by many. Your life certainly was lived to the fullest. I'm proud to have known you and your family. You took me in when I was a mixed up teen and I am forever thankful. I will always remember the tough Marine exterior with a compassionate heart of gold that his family knew best. Always helping others which you continued to do throughout your life in North Hollywood and Morro Bay. I think the Dodgers just lost their biggest fan. I cherish our time together short as it was. It had a positive lasting impact. Memories of you from over 30 years ago. I will miss you. God bless.

MEL was a wonderful man. He was a great Dad and always a fun Guy to be with. Mel also. was full of jokes and I rarely. saw him without a smile on his face. I always enjoyed seeing both Mel and Georgia, they where difinitely a match made from Heaven. Mel also served his community with his involvement with the Morro Bay Police Volunteer program and was always there to help when needed. I am so previleged to have meet such a wonderful man. I'm sure he was welcomed in the Kingdom of Heaven with open arms. MEL you will always be in our thoughts.Miss and Love you always.

Mel was a very special man. He was always kind to everyone and put strangers at ease. He had a soul so big and so full of life that it overflowed onto all that knew him. When I was down, just being around him made me feel better. He is and will be missed. Life is a little colder without him but our memories of him will be warm and full of love. Goodbye my friend and enjoy the loving arms of our Lord.............

Mel, you were a father to all of us who hung out at the NH house. You were also my friend. Though you have passed beyond this earthly plane, we will meet again in the future. I will treasure my memories of you, and the good times we had. My deepest condolences to the Brenneise family.
