Dear Menesez Family,
My deepest condolences for your loss. Mike and I met when I moved to Atascadero in 1972. My first memory of Mike was of him as a little guy in jeans, plaid shirt, and cowboy boots -chasing girls around the playground. We were friends through the rest of elementary, middle and high school. He enjoyed being in the school plays and because of his very good singing voice, good looks and a charming stage presence, he was the perfect leading man. I've run into Mike on several occasions through the years and he never failed to greet me like it'd only been a day, not years, since I'd seen him last. I will always remember Mike fondly and offer my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Mike was a dear friend. I knew him from Atascadero High School. He was wonderful and kind. I feel for his wife and his children and I hope that they will find peace. God is with us even when life hurts. God is with us even when we feel alone. Mike is with you Kerri and his love for you and the children will never leave any of you. Be strong girlfriend and lean on God. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that you and your children will heal in God's loving light. I am sorry I never had the opportunity to meet you, but maybe one day we will meet. Even though you don't know me yet, you and your children are in my prayers. Take care of yourself. Mike was a great friend and a great human being in general. We were all blessed to know him.
God will heal all wounds and love will remain.

I was so shocked to hear of Mike's passing. I just had a (short) but great visit with him here in Bend, Oregon, two weeks ago. My thoughts and prayers for his great family.

Hi Kerry- Mike was a great advocate for hiring and mentoring our adults with disabilities. He was always willing to give them a second chance, when most places would simply let them go. He will be truly missed. God bless you and your family and God bless Mike for all he did for agency and our adults.

I graduated with Mike from Atascadero in 1983 and was shocked and crushed when I heard he had passed! He was such a kind and genuine person and will be so missed! My heart goes out to his family and friends and I pray they will find some comfort during this difficult time.

Mike, I've known you since grade school in Atascadero. We went from sixth grade through AHS, many good times. The last time I saw you at the Woodland Chevron we shared a laugh about how this old Greyhound was cheering on the Bearcats that my daughters play for now.
