Nancy Moll Obituary

Nancy Moll passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at her home in Los Osos. Born in November 1920 in Glendora, Calif., Nancy graduated from San Diego State and taught school in Ramona, Calif., for five years before moving on to her lifelong career as an editor, first at San Diego Zoo, then at the Huntington Library and finally at Rand Corporation. After she retired to Los Osos in 1979 with her husband, Ralph, she pursued a real passion for gardening, focusing on orchids, with at least 50 plants in her collection. Her many other interests included fine art, world events, politics and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she collected true, devoted friends. Nancy is survived by her cousins Ricky Pace of New York and Ursula Jackson of Texas; Ralph''s niece, Jeanne Muzzicato (Tony); and the many friends and caregivers who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ralph Moll. As per her request, there will be no service.

Nancy
What a wonderful life you have lived. We will miss seeing you in your beautiful yard and garden working with your plants and we miss being your neighbors. We had many great times together and I thank you for all your help with my draft letters. Tom misses cooking for you, you were always a good tester for his creations. You have the most beautiful yard in Los Osos.
with love,
