1945 ~ 2010 Pamela was one month short of her 65th birthday when she died peacefully Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at her home in Brussels, Belgium. She passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was educated at San Luis Obispo schools and went on to graduate from San Jose State College with an emphasis in languages and elementary school teaching. She earned her master''s degree at UCSB. She taught at the Montecito Union Elementary School before she moved to Belgium to continue to teach at the International School of Brussels. Pam loved languages and was quite proficient in French, along with many other languages. She and Maurice had a ''wanderlust'' for traveling and went far and abroad to various countries and enjoyed close friends, gourmet food and practicing their languages! Pam is survived by her mother, Dorothy; father, Bryan of San Luis Obispo; uncle, aunt and several cousins; along with her husband, Maurice Moyensoon of Brussels; and her beloved dog, Dexter. As a tribute to Pam, a dog lover, contributions can be made to Woods Humane Society, 875 Oklahoma Ave., San Luis Obispo, CA 93405, www.woodshumane.org.

My most vivid memory of Pam is when she walked into my office at The International School of Brussels looking for a job. She was so delightful that I told the Director "you have to hire this lady" and she was - the very next day. I am truly sad that she is gone and send heartfelt condolences to Maurice and her family in the US. Pam will be sorely missed.
