Pauline Perozzi Obituary

Pauline M. Perozzi, 80, of San Luis Obispo, was born in Big Springs Neb., in August 1930, and passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Dec. 1, 2010, at her home. After graduation from Big Springs High School at age 17, she taught grades one through eight at a county school for four years. In 1952, she moved to San Luis, where she met and married her husband of 56 years, Dennis - they were blessed with four children. Pauline was a member of the Edna Farm Center, Farm Bureau for Women, Red Hat Society, Old Mission Church and numerous other organizations. Her joys in life were decorating her home, playing the organ and piano, and entertaining her friends and family. Pauline is survived by her husband, Dennis, a daughter, two sons, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two brothers. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at Reis Family Mortuary, 991 Nipomo in San Luis Obispo. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at the Old Mission in San Luis Obispo, with burial immediately following at San Luis Cemetery. Donations may be made in Pauline''s name to Hospice Partners of the Central Coast or the Jacquelyn Palchak Cancer Fund. Reis Family Mortuary 544-7400 San Luis Obispo

Love you Aunt Pauline. You and Grandma taught me the importance of family and tradition. The holidays will not be the same without you.
