Diane & Sean, I was sad to hear about the loss of Terry. I have a lot of happy memories of Terry at St Bede's in LaCanada. I remember his very warm & friendly smile. Both of our Catholic families had many kids & we spent lots of happy hours laughing & having fun in Meadow Grove.

Terry and I started work at PG&E the same week. We took different paths but ended up together in Operations. His smile and good nature were a light in this serious business. He will be missed but not forgotten.

And so goes another of our friends who we must wait to see again in the afterlife. So many stories to tell about the stories told on the back shifts at Diablo, almost all of which ended in great belly laughs! Gone but remembered with smiles. Good bye Terry.

Diane, i didn't know terry but he sounds like a most amazing man. but i did however enjoy many wonderful years at Mayfield with Anne. so to you and his dear sister Anne,i am so saddened by the loss of your husband and her brother. I keep you in my prayers and hope the days ahead are filled with just beautiful memories of terry.. coincidentally, i work with loren davis in special education in san luis obispo, whose son miles was friends with sean thru mission. reminds me always that it's such a small world and how wonderfully connected we all are with each other.

Diane and Sean:
Our deepest sympathy in your loss.
I have such fond memories of Terry. He was a friend and a kind, caring person. My fondest memories were of noontime walks with him along the ocean on the trail at Diablo. Terry was so nice, he slowed down so I could keep up.
I can just see him now walking at a fast clip around the heavens with God at his side and the both of them taking a quick break to peek down on the two of you with a big smile.
Our prayers are with you.

Diane and Sean, I will never forget Terry because we shared a birthday, March 16, and having met you two in the mid 1970's working at Pac Bell as operators then working with Terry in the Plant Service Center - still Pac Bell. When you first came to SLO county I will never forget how incredibly nice and friendly you both were to everyone. Then we were neighbors on 14th St. It was so much fun being around you both. I know Terry touched so many people and he will be sorely missed. Rosetta and I express deep sorrow for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we are sharing the burden of this great grief. May God bless you. Alice and Rosetta Lovell

Diane,
Pam and I are very sorry for your loss…and ours.
Terry, Pam and I always met at concerts and plays; sometimes we would go to dinner first and laugh, a lot.
I saw this poem the day after I heard of Terry’s passing and would like to share it with everyone.
Cancer is so limited…
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot eat away peace,
It cannot destroy confidence,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot shut out memories,
It cannot silence courage,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot reduce eternal life,
It cannot quench the Spirit,
It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.
I will miss my friend but will see him again, of that I am sure.
Love and peace to you Diane and Sean,
Michelle Branch

Terry made it both easy and a pleasure to be his friend. As much as he will be missed by many, who he is will long stay with us, and he definitely won't be soon
forgotten. Love to Diane and Sean.

In the end, what matters is that you are remembered for your kindness. I have good memories of Terry. He was my neighbor in Los Osos when I was there. I can see his long strides as he walked by our house many times. Thanks for the smiles shared and memories. My prayers go out to your family. Mark Aanerud

We shared some memorable times while working with Terry at the phone company.
You could always count on being greeted by Terry with an infectious smile and a great hug.
Although it's been years, the memories are still vivid, and we can't help but smile!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

It seems like I just bumped into Terry a few months ago. It was like we'd been seeing each other daily. Terry was so easy to visit and be with. We worked at Cal Poly together. He was always cheerful, friendly, and encouraging. Terry was someone I always thought of because he was someone you'd like to be like; someone you liked to be around. I am so sad he is gone from this world and pray that he is in God's hands. He was a great guy!!!
