Timothy Stuart Obituary

Timothy Wayne Stuart "T.S", 57, passed away peacefully at home in Atascadero on Friday, October 1, 2010, after his 5 ½ year battle with cancer. His loving wife Sue and stepson Daniel were by his side. Tim was born in Santa Barbara, Calif. in 1953 and moved to San Luis Obispo County in 1958. He attended school in Morro Bay. Growing up he enjoyed fishing, boating, riding motorcycles and his German Shepherds. He married his high school sweetheart, Terry, and had two children, Jason and Amy. Tim was an amazing carpenter, framing numerous houses and businesses throughout the Central Coast and Northern California. He also spent many years commercial fishing out of Morro Bay on the Billy Boy. Carpentry and fishing were two of his passions in life along with his family. After Terry''s passing to cancer in 1987 he had finally found his soul mate and love of his life when he met Sue Lancaster in 2001, and married in 2005. In recent years during his illness they enjoyed taking day trips to different beaches around the Central Coast. He loved adventures; road trips to Oregon to see family, camping trips with the children and grandchildren, watching football, UFC, throwing horseshoes with the guys and just about anything he had the strength to do at that time. Spending time with his family became a top priority, being "grandpa" was everything to him. Tim is survived by his wife, Sue Stuart and their combined 8 children. Son, Jason (Cherrie) Stuart; daughter, Amy (Todd) Bruton; her sons Tommy (Vanessa) Chapman, Chris (Sara) Chapman, Daniel (Bree) El-Ayache and Michael El-Ayache; her daughters Nicki (Kenny) Townsend and Candra El-Ayache; their 7 grandchildren; Anthony and Jade Bruton, Callie Stuart, Maddox and Colby Chapman, Katie and Emmy Chapman, parents Harvey and Carol Stuart; brother Jim (Jeanne) Stuart; several nieces and nephews; his cat Augie and many close friends; Charlie (Pam) Lanini and Matt Lyons were his best friends and fishing buddies for many years. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Terry Lynne Stuart. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010, by the Rock in Morro Bay. A reception will follow. It was Tim''s wish to ensure the future of his family and to contribute to a variety of cancer foundations. Memorial contributions can be made at any Heritage Oaks Bank to the Tim Stuart Memorial Fund. Sign his guest book at sanluisobispo.com/obituaries Chapel of the Roses 466-1161 Atascadero
