Beloved daughter of Rick and Theresa Bertram and younger sister to Kristen, Brittany Cathrine Bertram, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. She is in the Father''s hands now and with all of her family that passed before her. Brittany was a beautiful young woman with an angel''s heart and a soft and caring voice. She touched so many on this earth and always cared for those who might be alone and in need. She had an infectious smile, sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed snow skiing, snow boarding, jogging, riding horses, hiking, shopping, camping, ocean fishing and just being around her family. Brittany was a senior at UCSC and had recently walked with her graduating class in June. She had just finished this quarter''s finals in Molecular Cell Developmental Biology and due to graduate this spring. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26. Our daughter, Brittany brought so much joy and happiness into our family. From her first breath to her last, we were so blessed to have had her as our daughter for 22 years. Please keep her in your hearts. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Mountainbrook Community Church, 1775 Calle Joaquin in San Luis Obispo.
