Carrie Eyraud was born in December 1942 in Fort Collins, Colo., and died peacefully Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her children. She attended Cal Poly and worked at Sierra Vista Hospital for 35 years. In 1962, she married Joe Eyraud, who passed away in 2005. Carrie loved to sew, quilt, read and work in her garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carrie is survived by her four children Shelly Eyraud of Carmichael, Calif.; Cindy Gater (Jeff) of San Luis Obispo; Cathy Panconi (Mike) of San Ramon, Calif.; and Joey Eyraud (Bridget) of Pebble Beach, Calif.; as well as 10 grandchildren. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Chapel of the Roses, 3450 El Camino Real in Atascadero.
