Nancy Utterback It is with deep sadness that our dearly beloved Nancy Jo Utterback aka "Nipomo Nancy" passed away on Monday, August 8th, 2016, at the age of 61. She is in Heaven now and enjoying the time with Jesus. She was passionate on so many levels but loved her Lord first and foremost. She was a kid at heart and no one could say that she wasn't a fun, free-spirited individual. She could be very competitive at games but compassionate for the losers. She always found the most interesting gadgets and gizmos that kept the kids entertained for hours. There is not a heart nor soul that she couldn't put a smile to. She did her best to not judge anyone and took the challenge to brighten anyone's life. Nancy was involved in many activities with her children and could be found helping them with girl scouts, 4-H, cheerleading, little league and football and never gave less than 100%. She had tenacity for perfection which was evident in her crafts and collections. Her career as Real Estate agent provided her an avenue of many friends and associates. She was always excited to help people with buying or selling a home. She is survived by her husband, Kent; her children: Leslie (Rick), Brian (Stephanie), Kristen (Ryan), and grandchildren: Laney, Caitlin, Sophia, Brielle, and Coen. As well as her sister Jane, brothers Robert and Howard and their respective spouses. She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth and father Chuck. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 13, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Santa Maria, California. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory can be made to the New Life Community Church of the Nazarene Care and Counseling Ministry: 990 James Way, Pismo Beach, California.
