Leo "Bapa" Bass
Resident of Aptos
Leo will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
He was big hearted, with love and devotion for his family and friends that will be remembered always.
His dynamic personality and ethical character led him to many business partnerships and friendships throughout the community.
Leo was born in Oklahoma, but moved to Aptos with his family in his childhood years.
He joined the navy and upon his return from the pacific, met the "love" of his life Anne Johnston.
His long life was rich and full, celebrating the birth of a great grandchild and almost 65 years of marriage.
Let us join together to celebrate his wonderful life, toast his spirit, and appreciate his goodness.
A memorial service will be held at the Standal residence at 1pm Saturday, May 3rd at 5 Jingle Lane, Aptos.
