Nicole Elizabeth Gonzales Resident of Aromas left this world on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, when Jesus came and took her home. Nicole was born in Santa Cruz on a beautiful sunny afternoon on February 6, 1979. Her family lived in Aromas where she attended Aromas Elementary, Pajaro Middle School, Watsonville High, and was a student at Hartnell College in Salinas. She loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed doing arts and crafts with them. She enjoyed reading, writing, music, and was a fantastic cook. Nicole was loving and generous especially to her mother and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh and will be deeply missed by all. She leaves behind her mother, Gloria and stepfather, Vince Garcia of Aromas, her father, Chris Gonzales of Los Banos. Sister, Monica Gonzales (Rene Barboza) of Watsonville, Brothers, Chris Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales and Rocky Gonzales of Aromas, Mark (Alta) Gonzales of Greenfield, stepbrother, Vince Garcia Jr. of Moss Landing, 12 nieces and nephews including her Goddaughter, Cyprus Gonzales of Greenfield. She also leaves her aunts and uncles, Rachel and Jesus Nevarez, Bill (Jova) Gonzales, Richard (Christina) Gonzales all of Watsonville, Ruben (Pam) Gonzales of Las Vegas and numerous cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Antonia Rodriguez, Guillermo and Olivia Gonzales, and sister Peggy Ann Gonzales. A visitation will be held on Wednesday Oct. 24, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 pm with the recitation of a rosary at 7pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday Oct. 25 at St. Patrick's Church at 10 am followed by burial at Valley Public Cemetery. Pat and Debbie Carroll of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel have been entrusted with the arrangements.
