Robert is very much alive in our thoughts, currently his wonderful photos and his name is being spoken in the "Vote! Your Vote is Your Voice" curated by his friend, Maria Gitin. "In Memory of Bob Fitch" at the PVA gallery. He is a wonderful human being and is he is loved and always remembered.. His photos from Freedom Summer are being seen by the hundred of people who come to the Gallery. I'm sure he is in the room with us, the community he loves in Watsonville and Santa Cruz At the opening reception, I brought two bouquets of flowers for him. Maria and I were sure he was there!

My sincere love and condolences to the family of Bob Fitch. He was a kind and compassionate human being. He has given much to this country and the world, and will always be loved and remembered. I have submitted a few photos of his participation at the Human Condition exhibit at the Pajaro Valley Art Council exhibit in 2007. He selected 3 of his photos for that exhibit, this is where I first met him as a co-curator of this exhibit. Other photos are from the May 27th memorial, joining hundreds who paid tribute to this dear person.

Bob!! Oh hell, why do the best ones die young?
You are remembered with great love and affection by your Morning Star and Wheeler Ranch commune friends, with many thanks for all the wonderful photos you took and the generosity with which you freely shared them.
On behalf of our extended family, much much love and keep shining on! We'll meet again, as that great old song says, but I do know where -- at the great commune in the sky, just as long as they allow dogs in.
Love Always,
And always your friends
