Bert Rettner, M.D. Resident of Fresno 83, a retired physician, passed away Sept 23, 2012. Dr. Rettner practiced medicine in San Jose and Santa Cruz CA. He moved from Aptos CA to Fresno with his wife, Sandra, in 2002. While in Santa Cruz Bert was a vocalist and played his trumpet with a group called "Take Two". He was a state ranked tennis player in the senior division. When he wasn't on the tennis court he could be found at the bridge club where he earned his Life Master award. Bert is survived by his wife, Sandra and her two sons Erik and Christian LeMoss, his daughters Kalena (Karen) Rettner, Lisa Thomas, Jill Andrews, sisters Ruth Fields and Faith Oremland, and six grandchildren. He also leaves loving aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins and many close friends There will be "A Celebration Of Life" Sunday, Oct. 7 at 1:00 PM at Pardini's, 2257 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno, CA.
