To my dearest Aunt Catherine:
You were so many things to me: my friend, my confidant, my advisor. There were so many time you were there for us. I loved those times together, our favorite restaurants, riding in the car, playing Scrabble, holidays, Sundays.
Everyone who met you loved you right off the bat! Even the doctor in the ER wanted you to adopt him!
You were so generous with your time and finances, always giving with no want in return. The various charities, especially children's, have been blessed by you. We all have.
I feel the luckiest of all, being your niece, having memories of you from my childhood through my adult life. You were so inspiring, so wise, and funny, too. (Andrew called you 'The Fifth Golden Girl'!).
We will miss you so much! Your laughter, your voice, your love! You were awesome! Forever in our Hearts...Love, Sue

Catherine, we will all miss you more than any words can say. You were so spunky and full of life, right to your 93rd birthday. You were kind to all and generous to those who needed help. You were such a role model to my son and daughters...Jeff, Jerry, Morgan and Cleo. My wife Susy and I will cherish the wonderful lunches and dinners at Gilda's on the wharf...scrabble games on Sunday and keeping your hot rod Buick in shape for your bi weekly Watsonville bingo games. You were driving that sweet LeSabre like Mario Andretti.... riding with you to Star of the Sea Catholic Church for mass ....you were always hard on the throttle and late on the brakes.....truly a recipe for Life....I love you so much Catherine....I pray you will be as you were in Life....a Spiritual Guide for us while you wait for us on Heavens beautiful Shore.
