Dorothy Lillian Brunson passed away in Watsonville on January 10, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born to Fred and Isla Peitzke in Anaheim, CA. She graduated from Anaheim High School and attended Fullerton College for a few years. Dorothy held several different jobs throughout her life. She worked for MacDonald Douglas for a short time and also did her part for the War effort by contributing as a "Rosie the Riveter." Dorothy was also considered a very independent and savvy business woman. With all the different jobs and titles she held, the most important was being a wife to her husband of 54 years Billie and being a mother to their son. Dorothy was a talented painter and artist, as well as an avid traveler, she was lucky enough to have seen most of the U.S. and Europe. She enjoyed her time spent with the Women's Fellowship at the Soquel Congregational Church and loved the friends she made there. Dorothy is survived by; her son Billy Brunson, her granddaughter Erika Brunson, and several nieces and nephews.
