Esther C. "Peggy" Burkett Lowe, 90, of Eagle, formally of Watsonville, CA, died peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2013 after a short illness. A viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Peggy was born April 5, 1922 in Watsonville, CA and attended Watsonville High School where she met and married Loy Burkett. They had five children, Pat Nichols, Gary, Jack, Ken, and Don. She later married Lee Lowe and they had a daughter, Sarah Kinyon. Peggy devoted her life to being a loving and wonderful mother of six children. She also played a very important role in her grandchildren's lives.
She is survived by all her six children and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
