Resident of Corralitos
Gaelen Bodi Todd passed away August 20, 2012 at his Corralitos home, at the age of 22. Gaelen was born in Santa Cruz on May 29, 1990, the son of Todd Todd and Andrea Todd.
Gaelen grew up and spent most of his life as a resident of Corralitos. He was a graduate of Aptos High School and attended Cabrillo College. He worked at Carpo's Restaurant and Firefish Restaurant on the municipal wharf.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Watsonville and was also an Eagle Scout. Gaelen was a loving son and brother and was always there for his family and friends. He loved music, skateboarding, snowboarding, playing golf and mountain biking. His smile was contagious and he was loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Andrea Todd, his father, Todd Todd, his sister, Brie, his brother, Indiana and a large extended family.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 255 Holm Rd., Watsonville, CA on Monday August 27, 2012 at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at Oakwood Memorial Park, Paul Sweet Rd., Santa Cruz, CA. Visitation will be held at Benito Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA on Sunday from 4:00 pm. Until 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Im gonna miss you so much Gaelen.You were like a bro to me and it breaks my heart to know ill never get to see that smile of yours again.I swear ever since we met and became friends in kindergarten,every time since then until the last time I saw you,it didn't matter how bad of a day i was having the second i saw your face and you would start cheesin I couldn't help but but get the biggest smile on my face..Ill def miss that most :( Ill see you again one day,love you!

Gaelen was a bright light. Didnt know him long but very much liked him. Hewas always so respectfull and polite. It was a sad day when he left and i will miss him. So so sorry for your loss. C ya on the other side. T

Dear todd family,
We were surprised and saddened to hear of gaelens passing. Gaelen, and my son Jeffrey Mata have been class mate from kendergarden through high school and had been friend to the end. I myself have fond memories of gaelen growing up in the hood. It was always a pleasure to see gaelen in our home or in public places, he would always walk up to me with the biggest smile and respectfully shake my hand like a young gentleman. he will be missed. but, with smile like that, not forgotten.

Dear Todd Family,
We are very saddened to hear of Gaelen's passing. We smile when we think of the time several years ago that Gaelen came to visit our daughter , Ashlea, while she was in the hospital nursing her broken leg. He walked into her room holding a dozen flowers and a huge smile! He was always a dear friend to Ashlea and we thought of Gaelen as a sweet young man with an infectious smile. We can only imagine how painful his pasing is and we offer our condolences and prayers.

I knew this bright young man because he has been a good friend to my Son, Dustin Hunter. He always showed such respect and a really great smile whenever I was around him. We just all need to stop taking our times with loved ones for granted.
