Resident of Soquel
Greg was born in Portland, OR, moving to Fremont, CA in 1988, and to Soquel in 1995. Greg graduated from Soquel High School in 2005. Greg is survived by his parents, Jim Vicki; sister, Lisa; brother, David; grandfather Ken Dutton; grandmother, Cay Melendy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial will be held at 1:00 PM on Feb. 2 at the Congregational Church of Soquel. Donations may be made to the Greg Melendy music scholarship fund at http://GregsMusic.org.

The Lord said we must love one another. To love Greg Melendy and the entire Melendy Family is what Jesus meant. Greg showed us all how to love, by his selfless acts. This world is a lesser place without Greg, but we are not of this world and I truly believe we will all meet again.
