Helen Seadler Obituary

Helen M. Seadler Mar. 6, 1927 Sept. 7, 2012 Resident of Watsonville A beloved lady died in Watsonville on Friday, September 7, 2012. Helen was born In Vancouver, WA on March 3, 1927 to Ernst and Edith Hillstead. She was the second of three children, graduating from Hoquiam High School in 1945. Immediately following graduation she and Albert "Bud" Seadler, Jr. were married in Fresno, CA. Survived by her beloved husband of 67 years Bud Seadler; children Kathie (John) Sarracino, Richard (Carol) Seadler Mitch (Nanette) Seadler and Judie (Chris) Nielsen; sister June Young; grandchildren Richie (Chrisha), Al, Michael, Erica (Trevor), Brendan (Kristen), Brittany; step granddaughters Kristen and Erin; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law Doris Seadler and numerous nephews and nieces. Helen loved to go fishing at Eagle Lake with Bud, an excellent seamstress, marvelous cook and gracious hostess. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She and Bud delighted in entertaining their family and friends. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm, Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA, 831- 724-4751. Graveside services on Friday, September 14, 2012, 11:00 am, Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road, Watsonville, CA 95076. Hospice of Santa Cruz County preferred. Arrangements by Patrick and Debbie Carroll, Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, Watsonville, CA.
