I met Larry around 91-92 and loved to dance to his band Roughhouse. I have fond memories of his family and how close they were. He thought the world of his children and would regularly make the long drive to Los Banos to see them. He was always sweet and even tempered, was a good cook, and an excellent drummer. Kareoke at Polivio's was always fun. I always loved running into him around town as we had friends and music in common. I'm so very sad to hear he has passed on. My prayers and thoughts are with all who loved him.

I first met Larry through my ex-wife, Amy. I followed his musical career thru the different bands he was in. That man could drum! I remember him fondly.

I was ten years old when Larry was born..my parents actually let me name him Larry after a boy in my class that I had a crush on, Larry Clark..His full name is Lawrence Michael O'Bannon..most likely they let me think that I named him..he had so many talents and so much more living to do..it breaks my heart that he had to leave us so soon. I know many families must endure a loss like this and I find comfort in my meditation practice, my family and friends.

I was honored to spend the last five years as Larry's girlfriend, partner and best friend. He spent the last year of his life fighting prostate cancer, with me at his side, every step of the way... I cannot even express how much I will miss him!! I Love You Baby!!!
