As a sister-in-law, she was the best. I didn't get to see her very often since my move to the east coast, but she will always be in my heart. I have so many fond memories of her I will cherish. My heart goes out to my nieces and nephew and their families and wishing I could have been there.

Phyllis was a wonderful friend and mentor as I grew in the Milpitas Unified School District. I am sad to hear of her passing and wish the family my condolences.

I was very sad to hear of Phyllis' passing. I knew her as a parent because I taught her children in my class at Milpitas High School. I also knew her as a professional because I worked with her when she was in the District Office. My sympathy goes out to the family at this time. I am sorry that I could not attend the service. I am currently in Austin, Texas, attending the wedding of my niece. I will contact the family upon my return.

I only have wonderful memories about working with Phyllis and Nora in Milpitas.
The love and fun we shared will remain in my memory forever. I wish Nora and her entire family brighter days ahead
as they mourn the passing of an outstanding, caring and wonderful member of their family!

I was shocked to just now read that Phyllis has passed. We lived on the same road in Milpitas. As a teenager, she played the organ at St. Johns church every Sunday. Her son Don intered school the same time as my daughter. My prayers go to her son Don and her daughters, sister Pat and brother Jerry.
The strong woman she was, battled cancer for so long, was so brave and never gave up.God bless you dear friend.

I worked with Phillis when I was on the Board of Education in Milpitas. She was a great person. Sorry for your loss.
